Project Advantages Lime is an important basic industrial material widely used in sectors such as chemical engineering, construction, metallurgy and food. Limestone, the raw material for producing lime, is of the highest reserve among mineral resources in our county, available reserves of over ten billion tons, with CaO content of 51.29to 52.9%and MgO content of below1%. Recent years have witnessed rapid development of the steel industry along with flourishing market demands on active lime products. There are two large-scale steel enterprises in our county, but most of the existing lime product enterprises adopting traditional processing technologies will be phased out by the market. Nevertheless, this Project introduces rotary kiln production process with advantages of high production effectiveness as well as in energy conservation and environment protection. For this reason, the active lime products have a broad market prospect.
